  On the dating marriage and sex compatability thing I would say one STRONG reason was the WT made it SEEM like as long as you had JAH in your marraige...excuse me:

  

  Your marriage would be fine no matter what?!?

  How many articles did we have where couples were on the verge of divorce but damnit thanks to WT$ study and feild service that shit just made all marital woes disappear SMDH.

  so i was talking to a substitute co, he and his wife recently returned from "the school for christian couples" .

  anyways this couple has delayed having children in hopes of entering the circuit work, and have been sub coing for a couple years.

  they both have well paying, good jobs.

  i've seen a few postings of a possible "next date" for dubs of 2034. based on an article they published comparing the last days to the days of noah.

  preaching for 120 years.

  however, i noticed a little tidbit from wiki about age:.

  I forget whether it was the dec 2003 or 204 WT that 1st promoted 2034 as an end date. My jaw dropped when I 1st read it and I was even more stunned that most of the folk in the hall didn't appreciate what they were doiong SMDH!

  this has been the sentiment of a few i know who have been full jws for decades.

  they say the love is not there like it used to be, and it's become less personal.. anyone heard similar comments from oldies?.

  we know the 'truth' ain't the truth in the first place, but i have a feeling there may be a lot of older ones hanging on just because it's all they've ever known, and it the alternative, that there is no paradise around the corner like they've always been taught us unthinkable..

  My mother used to say: 'This great crowd aint running things like the annointed did!'

  That was back in the 90's! Yeah they have broken the spirit of the R&F sooo much they cant even front like they enjoy meetings any more.

  Had the wifes family over yesterday and her Motther and sister had just come from the new assembly hall/convention. Her sis was constantly talking about how the society is really 'beating it into them' and she KEPT making statements like that. These poor souls still left have been beaten and raked over the coals from the WT$. Fed gruel constantly and like Oliver twist Are forced to say please can I has some moar! SMDH!

  jesus gave three outstanding examples of what it is to be a follower of his and the actions and mindset that you should have, all three of these teachings or example's are diminished by the practices of jw's.
